Following your enrolment, you will receive the following:

After you have logged on and arrived within the Learning Management System, you will see all units of the course but you will only be able to access to those units for which you have the enrolment key.

Each of the units is divided into "Lessons" and the whole course comprises 48 lessons plus the initial introduction that is divided into 3 parts.

Inside a lesson you will be provided with readings, study questions, quizzes, templates and definitions. The definitions is really a help menu that clarifies some of the difficult and important terminology.

The assessment process is clearly described in the Introduction and then as you go through each unit, you will receive more specific advice on how to complete the assessment process which comprises:

Active Involvement in a Project

Active involvement includes:

You will need to provide evidence of your active involvement in a project and this is achieved by completing and submitting documentation. Each of the units of the course provides one or two downloadable templates that makes this task much easier.

Elearning students have two options for active involvement in project management:

Project Management Templates

Throughout this ealearning course you are provided with Project Management templates. Project management requires extensive documentation and knowledge of these templates will make not only make the assessment process far simpler but will also benefit your work performance as a projct manager in real life.

Templates include: Project Charter, Preliminary Scope Statement, Work Breakdown Structure, Project Schedule, Risk Management Plan, Communication Management Plan and much more.

A drop box is provided in each unit for your completed templates that are required for assessment purposes.

Study questions and activities

This aspect of the assessment process is relatively straightforward and will likely take less than 30 minutes per lesson. The purpose of the study questions is to highlight important principles, concepts and terminology in the readings. Study questions and actiities include gap fill exercises, multiple choice questions, true and false questions, anagrams, one word, one sentence and a short paragraph. All answers are found in the body of the reading for the lesson.

Multiple choice questions tests

Each unit of the nine units of work has one 20 question quiz. Questions are a little more difficult than the study questions and activities. You can take the test as many time as you need however if you do not achive the passmark of 70%, you will be required to wait 2 hours before retaking. The learning environment keeps your best score for each test.
